Withdrawing cash from ATMs will become expensive from July 1 as Axis Bank has increased its cash withdrawal charges. The bank has informed its customers about this, due to which now you will have to pay additional charges on more ATM transactions.

Axis Bank has changed the ATM charges from July 1. Now after the free limit for savings accounts, NRI accounts and trust accounts, every ATM cash withdrawal will be charged Rs 23 instead of Rs 21. This increase is part of the revision of the charges levied by the bank on ATM transactions of various accounts.
Let us tell you that revised ATM Interchange Fee Guidelines were issued by RBI (Reserve Bank of India), based on which the bank has now increased this charge.

If we talk about free limit, then the limit is 3 free ATM transactions in metro cities and 5 free ATM transactions in non-metro cities. After this limit, if Axis Bank account holders transact through ATM, they will have to pay more charges than before.
