
Cheepurupalli: Former Andhra Pradesh minister and YSR Congress Party (YRCP) leader Botsa Satyanarayana collapsed during a party programme in his Cheepurupalli constituency. Satyanarayana fainted while addressing 'Vennupotu Day', a protest organised by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).
The former minister reportedly climbed onto a vehicle to address his supporters. However, he collapsed mid-speech. According to reports, Satyanarayana fell ill due to the intense heat and humidity.

The incident was recorded on camera. In the video, it could be seen that when the YSRCP leader collapsed on a vehicle-turned-stage. Other leaders of his party were also present on the top of the vehicle when the incident took place.
YSRCP members immediately come to Satyanarayana's rescue. They rushed him to a hospital. His condition is reported to be stable.
Satyanarayana left the Congress and joined the YSRCP in 2015. He is a former cabinet minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development in Andhra Pradesh. Satyanarayana has also won the Bobbili parliamentary constituency in 1999 as an MP. He also won the Cheepurupalli Assembly constituency three times in 2004, 2009 and 2019.
