's finale has been hit with 96 Ofcom complaints, targeting and Alesha Dixon for their sartorial selections deemed 'too revealing for a family show'. The Mirror reached out to Ofcom, who confirmed receiving grievances from viewers critical of the judges' racy wardrobe choices. Amanda Holden, aged 54, defied critics with her dazzling ensemble for the competition's final, reaffirming her pledge to not dial back her daring fashion statements amidst ongoing controversy. She turned heads at the grand final in a bespoke white silk gown by Saint Hendrix, going braless with her hair elegantly pulled back and adorned with sparkling clips.

Alesha Dixon wasn't far behind in causing a stir, as she emerged on stage in an embellished, translucent jumpsuit that left little to the imagination, showcasing her undergarments. Both Alesha and Amanda are no strangers to receiving flak for their bold outfit choices on the show, yet it is Amanda who consistently stirs up contention. Her most notorious outfit to date remains the Julien Macdonald dress from July 2017, provoking such an uproar it topped the year's list of TV controversies.

Amidst the clamour, the mother of two maintained her poise, humorously naming the outcry over her clothes a 'national crisis' in Closer magazine, while stressing: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried.", reports the Mirror.

Championing the idea of enjoying one's style sensibilities, Amanda advocated: "I think people should have fun with fashion!".

"I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis - but, oh no, I will not be covered up."

Her daring ensembles have become such a hot topic that she now has a squad to inspect her decolletage before the live broadcasts.

"There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she amusingly recounted.

"There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady who's the producer who said, 'Mandy, it looks great'."

Despite any controversy over their sartorial choices, Amanda and Alesha were clearly elated post-finale, as magician Harry Moulding was crowned the victor.

Beaming broadly in photographs with the jubilant new star, the ladies, joined by fellow panellists Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, celebrated yet another triumphant season of the ITV talent spectacle - regardless of any furore surrounding their fashion statements.
