Television actress Aneri Vajani has shared a heartbreaking tribute to her Nisha Aur Uske Cousins co-star and dear friend Vibhu Raghave, who passed away on June 2 after a prolonged battle with stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer . Her emotional note, laced with love, pain, and cherished memories, captures the depth of their friendship and the profound sense of loss she feels.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Aneri wrote, “Ab dard nahi hoga, baby. Vibhu, the last thing you told me was ‘I love you more.’ I remember laughing and crying at the same time because only you could still be so loving and funny and always smiling—even on that hospital bed.”
She recounted how she had written him a long message before going on a trip, hoping he would read it once discharged and then call to lovingly scold her. “Thank you for waiting for me to come back, thank you for all the beautiful memories, thank you for making me laugh when I didn’t want to smile. Thank you for being youuuu!” she continued.
Aneri’s grief was interwoven with admiration for Vibhu’s strength, as she wrote, “Rest in peace, my strongest boy! You fought so well till the very end and I’m so proud of you!” She even shared a tender message for those Vibhu might now meet in the afterlife, adding, “Say hi to my Dadu and Nisha’s Dadu up there—I’m sure you guys will be so happy to see each other.”
She ended with a tearful, “I love youuuuuuu, Vibhu. Yes, I know—you love me more.”
Aneri’s words reflect a loss that goes far beyond co-stars; they were family in spirit, bound by deep affection and unforgettable memories.
Several celebrities arrived to pay their final respects, including Karan Veer Mehra, Urvashi Dholakia, Nakuul Mehta, Addite Malik, and Anjali Anand, among others. Their presence reflected the profound impact Vibhu had made on those around him—not just as a performer but as a kind, inspiring friend.
Vibhu is survived by his mother Anupama Raghav, brother Aishwarya Raghave, and sister Garima Singh Tyagi.
