A 17-year-old girl has shockingly died after eating a delivered directly to her with a mysterious note.
A motorbike courier dropped off a package containing a cake-in-a-jar for Ana Luiza de Oliveira Neves with her sister. The 17-year-old came home at around 6pm on Friday, May 30, and ate the surprise cake but became violently ill less than an hour later. Ana Luiza started and had constant diarrhoea at her house, near Sao Paulo, , but the nightmare situation would soon turn tragic. The contents of the creepy note that came with the cake was revealed.

The short but mysterious note said: "A treat for the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." The 17-year-old's dad, Silvio Ferreira das Neves, came home at around 1.30am on Sunday, June 1, and rushed her to the hospital - where she was diagnosed with food poisoning.

She was initially given medication and IV fluids before being discharged after she started to feel better. Things took a dramatic turn for the worse as Ana Luiza collapsed in the bathroom at her home at around 4pm that same day.

The 17-year-old was rushed to A&E but suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest on her way to the . She arrived at the emergency unit with no vital signs and signs of cyanosis.
Doctors tried to resuscitate the young girl but their efforts were unsuccessful and she was unfortunately pronounced dead. The case was reported to the after Ana Luiza's sister told their father about the bizarre delivery.
Cops revealed they had identified a 17-year-old girl as the suspected sender of the cake. She initially denied involvement but, after hours of questioning, confessed to lacing the cake with arsenic trioxide, which she had bought online. The suspect and Ana Luiza were friends and even had a sleepover on Saturday night.

Chief inspector Vitor Santos de Jesus said: "That girl stayed over at our house. She saw the whole thing unfold. She saw Ana Luiza getting sick, saw me taking her to the hospital, and the next day, she watched my daughter collapse in the bathroom, and didn't show any reaction at all."
She reportedly also admitted to sending a poisoned cake to another girl, of the same age, on May 15 - alleging that girl had caused two of her boyfriends to leave her.
The first victim, who also received a note similar to the one Ana Luiza got, fell ill and was hospitalised but survived. The suspect claimed she had only wanted to "scare" the girls and had never intended for Ana Luiza to die.

The chief inspector says she showed signs of low self-esteem and harboured "anger" and "jealousy" towards Ana Luiza. Police found their suspect after they tracked down the motorbike courier and used him to get the address.
The suspect has been transferred to a young offender institution. Ana Luiza was laid to rest in Itapecerica da Serra, south west of Sao Paulo, on Tuesday, June 3.
Silvio said: "She was a quiet girl with just a few friends. An innocent girl. Maybe that's why she ate that cake, without seeing any danger or cruelty in people."
