News India Live, Digital Desk: Royal Challengers Bangalore may feel the pain of Punjab Kings. Before Tuesday, both teams were on the same boat in terms of never winning IPL in 17 attempts. The RCB finally broke its order with a six -run win over PBKS in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, leaving Shreyas Iyer -led team disappointment for a long time.RCB won its first IPL title in its fourth attempt in the final, while PBKS has now lost in the title match for the third time.

In his first year as captain, Iyer led the team, but was dismissed for 1 run in the final, as PBKS in Ahmedabad was stopped at 184/7 in front of the target of 191 runs in Ahmedabad.

Apparently, Iyer was disappointed but he vowed to return with more determination to win the title next year. He said, “It was disappointed to be honest, but the way our players came on this occasion and the way we enjoyed it was not evident but the credit goes to management, collaborative staff and every person who participated and contributed.

He said, “The way the owners supported us were also amazing. Looking at the previous match against Mi, I personally felt that the 200 score was equal. He bowled brilliantly, especially Krunal, he has a lot of experience, he has done this for a long time. I believe that this was the turning point.”

“I am proud of every player in this team. It has many young players who are playing their first season. The fearlessness they showed was really amazing.

“I keep saying the same thing, but every person who come here, salute the support staff and management. We are not here without them, salute them.”

Iyer Said that the experience that young players have gained in this version will help them prepare more well in the next version.

“The work is still half, we have to stay here and win the trophy next year. The way we performed and every person came forward and said that he can win the match, there are many youths in the team, I am sure they have gained a lot of experience from these matches.

Iyer said, “I am sure when they come next year, we will bring a lot of experience with them. We can make some strategies and strategies around it so that we can play some good cricket.”
