Washington, DC: Pakistan is putting up a great effort to seek US President Donald Trump’s assistance in an attempt to bring about peace with India, given the country’s increasing isolation on the subject of terrorism.

Speaking at a function held at the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif encouraged Washington to support a thorough discussion between the two nuclear neighbors and commended Trump for his contribution to defusing the situation with India.
The prime minister of Pakistan was repeating remarks made by former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who said that Trump “deserves credit” for assisting in the end of the two countries’ war.
He has rightfully claimed responsibility for helping to bring about the truce between India and Pakistan ten times. He is deserving of such recognition since the ceasefire was made possible in part by his efforts. Therefore, it is logical to assume that an American participation in setting up a thorough conversation would also be advantageous for us if the US is prepared to assist Pakistan in upholding this ceasefire,” Bhutto said.
India routinely opposes third-party intervention on bilateral matters and has openly disputed that President Trump was involved in the ceasefire accord.
“I believe the US has known for a while that India has made it very clear that we would not engage in negotiations while a gun is aimed at our heads. The issue is that we won’t put up with those who are pointing guns at us. If your neighbor lets his Rottweilers* attack your kids and even hurt them and then says, “Let’s talk,” I mean, to be honest. You assume that he will converse with him until he either lets go of those Rottweilers*, kennels them, or puts them to sleep. That is all there is to it. If someone is pointing a pistol at your temples, you won’t engage in conversation. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is in charge of the all-party group traveling to the US, said that it will not take place.
The Pakistani side was also criticized by the Indian delegation for claiming to be just as much of a victim of terrorism as India.
“This (Pakistan) delegation is going around saying we are also victims of terrorism, and we have lost more lives to terrorism than India has,” claimed Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. We turn around and ask, “Who is at fault?” Ten years ago, Hillary Clinton made a famous statement. You cannot expect vipers to merely attack your neighbors if you breed them in your backyard. Because of this, the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan is now attacking Pakistan with terrorists. However, who founded the Taliban, from which the Tehrik-i-Taliban split off? We all know the answer, so before Pakistan goes about claiming innocence, deniability, and other such things, let it examine itself and perform some real introspection.”
“Bhutto has been calling his delegation a peace delegation, and it is quite ironic that the Pakistani delegation is speaking the language of peace,” BJP MP Tejasvi Surya echoed. It resembles a quote from the Bible from the Devil. A nation that is attempting to fabricate heroes by elevating unsuccessful generals to field marshals is unaware of what real leaders look like. Cheap Chinese imports, such as military equipment that has utterly failed on the battlefield, have been Pakistan’s main source of income. Therefore, it’s possible that they find it difficult to accept both strong democratic government and top-notch, high-caliber military weaponry across the border.
Brian Mast, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has already approved India’s anti-terror stance, despite Bhutto and his imitation delegation’s attempts to advocate for peace.
“The whole world was holding its breath, seeing what had happened out of disdain and waiting for a reaction. You are forced to react when someone attacks you. Nothing else is permitted by the world; thus, those reactions had to occur. “We see nothing but growth and expansion in the future, and we have a great friendship and partnership between our nations,” Mast told reporters in Washington, DC.
