New Generation Mahindra Bolero Looks Like A Mini Defender!

The new generation Mahindra Bolero has been spied for the first time and it will most likely be unveiled as a concept at the event on 15th August. The new generation Bolero would be underpinned by the new flexible platform and that means it could spawn an EV version too. The spy pics indicate a boxy stance and it will be under 4m while the design stays true to the classic Bolero look although it is all new now. The stance is much like a mini Defender with a high shoulder line as well with a wider muscular stance in the segment.

The front-end is new, and so are the headlamps while the surfacing is also changed with flush door handles now being added. The new Bolero will have the NFA (New Flexible Architecture) having different types of powertrains. Some classic Bolero design cues like the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate while it could have an independent rear suspension.

Just like the new Scorpio, the new Bolero will be much more modern and better equipped with features like a sunroof, ADAS, bigger touchscreen and much more. The engine options would be diesel and petrol while later we can have a possible hybrid and an EV option as well.

The new all new Bolero will be coming in 2026 for now as part of the big product launch strategy of Mahindra to push for ICE as well as EVs. The new Bolero would be positioned below the Scorpio N and would be a rugged small SUV. Mahindra had launched its new EV range earlier this year, and next year we will see more launches as well.
