How was a visa interview?
The Indian student, who is going to study undergraduate in Economics and Computer Science at New York University (NYU), posted a post on the social media platform Redit. In this, she shared the experience of the visa interview and told that it lasted for only 15 seconds, in which more time was spent in typing. The student reported that he went to the US embassy in Mumbai. Hi-Hello was first here and then asked to sit. After this, the officer who took the visa interview sought his passport and i20 form from the student, which the student slowly extended towards him.

In the post, the student told that the visa officer asked him, “How many universities did you apply?” In response, the student said, “Seven.” On this, the officer asked how many of them were getting admission. The student said, “Most of the Canadian universities were and then NYU and RIT were ready for admission.” The visa officer asked, “Why Nyu only?” To this, the student said, “NYU is the best business school in the world.” The visa officer again asked, “So are you going to study finance?” The student replied, “Yes, mixed courses of Economics and Computer Science.”

The student said that the visa officer typed for about 3 seconds and then said, Visa Approach. The student told that I have traveled abroad before, like I have gone to Canada. He told that perhaps because of this the visa officer immediately approved the visa. He advised the rest of the students that they should not worry about the visa interview.
