Bayer Leverkusen are hoping to bring some Brazilian flair to the Bundesliga.
Bayer Leverkusen is taking concrete steps to bring Lucas Ferreira to the BayArena when the transfer window opens.
ACCORDING TO BRAZILIAN JOURNALIST ALEXSANDER VIEIRA, DIE WERKSELF ARE OFFERING SAO PAULO € 8million for the Winger.
However, the talented Brazilian’s representative and the club itself are said to be asking for at least €10million.
Recently, it was even assumed that Ferreira’s contract, which runs until 2029, contained a release clause of six million euros.
Now it looks as if the 1.87-meter-tall youngster might not be available quite as cheaply as originally though.
Ferreira is a crafty attacking player who likes to cut inside from the right wing to find the finishing spot with his powerful left foot.
At just 19 years old, he still has enormous potential for development – so the double-digit million-dollar fee could certainly pay off for Leverkusen.
