Especially in the case of brain tumours, putting our health first and taking proactive measures is very important.
Ways To Prevent Brain Cancer:
1. Maintain a Healthy Diet:
- Consume a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
- Include foods with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, such as berries, leafy greens, and fatty fish.
- Limit processed foods, saturated fats, and added sugars.
2. Stay Physically Active:
- Engage in regular physical exercise to promote overall health, including cardiovascular fitness.
- Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, along with strength training exercises.
3. Mental Stimulation:
- Keep your brain active by engaging in mentally stimulating activities such as reading, puzzles, learning new skills, and socialising.
4. Protect Against Harmful Substances:
- Be mindful of exposure to environmental toxins and pollutants. Choose organic products when possible and reduce the use of chemical cleaners.
- Limit exposure to harmful substances such as tobacco and excessive alcohol.
5. Manage Stress:
- Practice stress management techniques, such as meditation, deep breathing, yoga, or other relaxation methods.
- Maintain a healthy work-life balance and prioritise activities that promote relaxation and well-being.
Food Tems You Should Avoid During Cancer Treatment:
- Lightly cooked or raw fish, such as sushi.
- Soft-cooked eggs or foods that contain raw eggs, such as homemade mayonnaise.
- Unpasteurized cheeses and dairy products.
- Unwashed fruits or vegetables.

It has been estimated by the American Institute for Cancer Research and the World Cancer Research Fund that 30–40 percent of all cancers can be prevented by appropriate diets, physical activity, and maintenance of appropriate body weight. It is likely to be higher than this for some individual cancers.
