Following the recent IPL finals where Punjab Kings faced defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, actress Preity Zinta shared an encouraging note for the "Sher Squad".

She commended the team's resilience and determination throughout the season.

"Although it didn't conclude as we had hoped, the journey was remarkable! It was thrilling, entertaining, and truly inspiring. I admired the fight and tenacity our young team, our shers, displayed during the tournament. Our captain, our Sarpanch, led with great spirit, and the performance of our uncapped Indian players was outstanding this IPL," she expressed.

Preity highlighted the uniqueness of this season, noting, "We broke records despite losing key players to injuries and national commitments, experienced a pause in the tournament, relocated home games to different states, and even evacuated a stadium! We adapted well, topped the points table after a decade, and fought valiantly until the thrilling final."

She reassured fans that Punjab Kings will return stronger next year. "I am immensely proud of every player for demonstrating such character throughout the tournament. A huge thank you to each of them, our support staff, and everyone at PBKS for an unforgettable season. Most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to our SHER SQUAD, our loyal fans who stood by us through every challenge. Our achievements are a testament to your support, and I promise we will return to complete the mission because, for now, the job remains unfinished.
