
Piyush Chawla Retirement: Indian team veteran spinner Piyush Chawla has announced his retirement from all formats from cricket. The Indian spinner said goodbye to all the formats of cricket on Friday (June 06). Chawla, 36, was part of Team India in the 2011 ODI World Cup.

He further wrote, “From representing India at the highest level to participate in the victory of the 2007 and 2011 World Cup, every moment of this journey was not less than any blessing. All these moments will always be in my heart.”

The Indian spinner thanked the IPL franchise Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in their retirement note. Apart from this, he also thanked the coach. Rest of Chawla thanked the BCCI and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association.

Apart from this, he took 4 wickets in 7 innings of T20 International.
