MBBS Admission: How is admission done in KGMU?

1. Take the NEET UG 2025 exam: First of all you have to pass the NEET UG exam. The 2025 NEET UG exam was held on 4 May 2025 and its result is expected on 14 June 2025. For this, you should have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th. For SC/ST/OBC it will be 45%. Your age should be at least 17 years as of 31 December 2025.
2. Register for counseling: After the NEET UG result is out, you will have to participate in Uttar Pradesh NEET UG counseling, which is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow. For this, register on upneet.gov.in.
3. Choice filling: In counseling, you will have to choose the college and course of your choice. Keep KGMU as your first choice here.
4. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on your NEET UG score, rank, reservation category, and availability of seats.
