CSBC Bihar Police Constable: The Central Selection Board, Bihar has rejected 33,042 applications out of the applications received for constable recruitment. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 19,838 posts of constable. Central Selection Board has also released the list of rejected applications. The list contains the registration number, name of the candidate, reason, and reference number.

Why were the applications rejected?

Among these, 10,947 candidates have not submitted the application form after registering. 20,940 applications were canceled by the candidates themselves. There are 1,155 candidates whose applications have been rejected due to gender discrepancies, errors in photo/sign, and applying more than once.

7935 posts unreserved

Out of a total of 19838 vacancies, 7,935 posts are unreserved. 1983 posts are reserved for economically weaker sections, 3174 for Scheduled Castes, 199 for Scheduled Tribes, 3571 for Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), 2381 for Backward Classes (BC), and 595 for women of backward classes. 6717 posts are reserved for women under horizontal reservation. There are 397 posts for horizontal reservation for freedom fighters.

When can the exam be held?

Many reports are claiming that the Bihar Police Constable Exam (Bihar Police Constable Exam date) can be held on 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30 July. However, no official information has been shared in this regard yet.

The application process was completed in March-April 2025. More than 17 lakh applications were received for these posts. This means that there are more than 85 contenders for one post.

How will the selection be done?
The selected candidates will be given 21,700 - 69,100 under pay scale level 3. First, there will be a written test. Candidates who qualify for this will be called for a physical test. There will be no interview. Youth from other states can also apply for this recruitment.
