
Suspension of Police Officers in Balasore
In Balasore, five police officers have been suspended due to allegations of neglecting their duties and breaching service regulations, according to official reports.
The group consists of one Havildar and four constables.
These officers were assigned to the district collector's residential office in Balasore.
The Superintendent of Police, Raj Prasad, initiated this suspension following an internal investigation.
A senior police official confirmed the disciplinary action taken against the five individuals.
Sources indicate that the officers were absent from duty for three days while attending a colleague's birthday celebration.
There are also claims that they participated in some unlawful activities during this time.
A Deputy Superintendent of Police has been appointed to carry out a thorough inquiry into the matter.
