Reports indicate that doctors are currently examining her, and her condition is reported to be stable.

Sonia Gandhi last made a public appearance on May 27, when she paid tribute at the memorial of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, on his 61st death anniversary at Shanti Van in Delhi. Recently, the Enforcement Directorate named Sonia Gandhi as accused number one and her son Rahul Gandhi as accused number two in the National Herald case. Alongside them, five others have also been named in a prosecution complaint filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
