Weather Update: Monsoon started early from Kerala. Rain was witnessed in many areas, but after this the monsoon seems to be slowing down. After 29 May 2025, the progress of monsoon has almost stopped. According to Skymet and other experts, due to the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the speed of monsoon has slowed down and there is little possibility of its progress for the next 7-8 days.

In North India too, the chances of rain have reduced in the last few days. The rain warnings that have been coming for the last several days are very less today. Heat seems to be increasing in Uttar Pradesh too. To get relief from heat and humidity, we will have to wait for thunderstorms and rain. Monsoon is expected to arrive in these areas between 25 June and 5 July.

Till then, the havoc of heat is going to be seen. If we look at the weather forecast for the coming few days, the mercury of the city can go up to 40 amidst the sunshine in Delhi. Strong winds will blow in Delhi during the day from Monday, but there will be no drop in temperature. The Meteorological Department has not issued any rain alert in most parts of Bihar today.

Only North East Bihar may witness some showers. Let us tell you that the temperature has started rising in Rajasthan as well. Yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Barmer, which was 43.4 degrees Celsius. Now, the possibility of heat wave has also been expressed from tomorrow. Let us tell you that the spell of rain in Rajasthan is now over and the days of drought have returned. Yesterday, a warning of rain was issued in two to four areas. If the weather department is to be believed, it is also being said that the spell of rain may start again after a few days, the weather may change in some areas on 9 June.
