
After the rain stops, heat and humidity are expected to increase. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in states like Delhi, UP and Bihar may increase by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. People are now waiting for the monsoon for relief, which is expected to reach North India between June 25 and July 5. Till then hot winds and heat waves may bother people.
Delhi weather: Temperature expected to reach 40 degrees
Today the sky will be completely clear in the capital Delhi and the mercury can go up to 40 degrees Celsius amid bright sunshine. Although, there will be light winds during the day but no relief is expected from the heat. The temperature of Delhi will continue to rise in the coming days.
Danger of heat wave in UP
The weather in Uttar Pradesh will remain dry today i.e. on June 7 and the sky is expected to remain clear. The temperature is likely to increase rapidly, especially in Bundelkhand and Vindhya region, a heat wave warning has been issued on June 9 and 10. Severe heat is being felt in many districts including Lucknow.
However, due to eastern winds, rainfall may start in eastern parts of the state from June 11, which may cause a drop in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees and people may get some relief from the heat.
There is no possibility of rain in Bihar today
There is no rain alert in most parts of Bihar today. Only light showers may occur at some places in the north-eastern areas, but the weather will remain dry on a large scale.
Heat returns to Rajasthan, heatwave alert issued
The temperature in Rajasthan has started rising once again. The country’s highest temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer yesterday. The Meteorological Department said that the temperature in Bikaner division can reach 44 to 45 degrees Celsius on June 7 and 8 and there is also a possibility of heat wave in some areas from June 8.
The rain of the past few days in Rajasthan has now stopped and dry weather will prevail in the state for the next 4-5 days.
