
People can't believe this incredible holiday spot is in the UK - and it has been compared to Europe's most . As warm temperatures and sunshine prevails, many of us are planning weekend getaways and activities as summer has begun. And while many of us love heading abroad, it can burn a huge hole in your bank - the last thing you need on top of the expensive cost of living. Thankfully, we have plenty of amazing spots right here in the UK that are easy to get to - including this stunning spot in Wales.
People were left gobsmacked after one individual travelled to a picturesque spot by the seaside in Swansea, and shared a video on . Online content creator said: "I couldn't believe I was in the UK when I stumbled across this view!" The travel content creator, who boasts over 15,000 followers, compared the spot to Spain, Italy and the south of France.
One individual hailed it as "the nice part of Swansea", while another "that's why we moved here". Another added: "LOVE Swansea - got loads of family there so had lot of holidays there! One of my favourite places."
Another wrote: "Mumbles is my home town omg! Pierre Bistro is so good."
The stunning spot is Mumbles, in Swansea Bay.

It has an incredible Victorian pier, a fantastic sandy beach, plus The Promenade - where much of the Mumbles fun takes place.
The Promende can be enjoyed on foot, or hire a Santander cycles and enjoy a bike ride. Or you can catch the 72-seater Swansea Bay Rider Land Train between Blackpill Lido and Southend Gardens. Kids can hop off for a swim at one end and, at the other, there is a playground, crazy golf, and the eateries of the Oyster Wharf development.
Mumbles also has some fantastic restaurants and bars, plus shopping spots. Visit Wales states: "With a colourful history ranging from a battled-over castle through to the legendary 'Mumbles Mile', Mumbles today is all about good coffee, independent shops, and classic piers-and-promenade seaside fun. Also lots of ice cream!"
The further island at Mumbles is home to the iconic Mumbles Lighthouse - perfect for a family picture. The view of the lighthouse from Bracelet Bay is particularly pretty, and nearby there is The Lighthouse, where you can enjoy a lovely meal while admiring the views.
Getting thereIt is easy to get to mumbles from Swansea; it is just a 16 minute drive. Alternatively you can get a train to Newton Road. Once off the train, walk two minutes and you will arrive at Mumbles.
If you live far away from Swansea and don't plan on driving, trains run often. Trainline states: "Trains to Swansea take less than an hour from Cardiff and less than two hours from Bristol, so you'll be enjoying the five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay - an attraction that draws sun-seekers to the coast in their hundreds during the summer - in no time."
