Senegal is truly the land of diverse wild nature, which is probably why is has several natural , including the popular Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary in Saint Louis, Senegal. The national park covers a 16,000 hectres area and features a large lake, surrounded by streams, ponds and back waters.
The land is home to around 1.5 million birds, including the white pelican, the purple heron, the African spoonbill, the great egret, and the cormorant.
Bird-lovers can embark on an experience of a lifetime there, with visitors "highly" recommending a visit.
