The application process will start on June 15

The Home Defense Corps of the Jharkhand government has recently issued a notification for 1614 Home Guard recruitment, under which the application process for recruitment will start on June 15. Application for recruitment can be made online by visiting the official website of Jharkhand Police jhpolice.gov.in. Rs 200 will have to be paid as an application fee.

Recruitment on rural and urban level posts
The Jharkhand government has announced to start of the process for Home Guard recruitment in the entire state. Under this 1276 posts of Home Guard are to be recruited at the rural level. At the same time, Home Guards are to be recruited on 338 posts at the urban level. The special thing is that in the Home Guard recruitment, different posts are reserved for women and men. In the recruitment, 641 posts are to be recruited for male candidates at the rural level and 635 posts for female candidates. Similarly, 169-169 posts of female and male Home Guard are to be filled at the urban level.

Age limit 19 to 40 years

According to the notification issued by Jharkhand Home Defense Corps, the age limit for Home Guard recruitment has been fixed from 19 to 40 years, under which candidates of a minimum of 19 and a maximum of 40 years can apply for recruitment. Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per rules. Similarly, the educational qualification has been kept between 7th to 10th pass, under which the candidates applying for urban posts must be 10th pass, while the candidates applying for recruitment to rural posts must be 7th pass.

Three exams will have to be given for recruitment.

According to the notification, the recruitment process will be conducted in the Recruitment Corps located in Ranchi. For recruitment, the candidates will have to pass three levels of exams. At the first level, the candidates will have to take a physical test. At the second level, the candidates will have to take a Hindi writing test, while at the third level, a technical knowledge test will be conducted. After all this, merit will be prepared for recruitment.
