After which the board has started its preparations to start the recruitment process. It is believed that in the coming week, the UP Police Recruitment Board will issue a notification for recruitment to 23763 posts. After the release of the notification, the application process for recruitment will start.

3 years relaxation in age limit for recruitment to SI post
This time there has been a big change in the UP Police recruitment process, under which this time it has been decided to give 3 3-year relaxation in age limit to candidates of all categories for recruitment to Sub Inspector (SI) posts. The decision in this regard was taken in the UP Cabinet recently. Candidates will get age relaxation only this time. According to the information, this relaxation in age limit is to be given for direct recruitment to the vacant posts of SI from the selection year 2020-21 to 2024-25. It is believed that with this relaxation, 5 lakh overage youth will get a chance to join the recruitment.

20 percent reservation to Agniveers
Agniveers will get a 20 percent reservation in UP Police recruitment. A decision in this regard has been taken in the Yogi Cabinet recently. The first batch of soldiers serving as Agniveers in the army will retire in 2026, to accommodate them again in government service, the Yogi government has reserved 20 percent of the total posts for Agniveers. Agniveers will get relaxation in age limit according to their service period. Agniveers who are natives of UP can avail the benefit of 20 percent reservation in UP Police recruitment.
