If you are also facing the problem of call drops and poor internet connectivity, then soon you are going to get relief from it. For this, the Telecom Regulator i.e. TRAI has made a foolproof plan.
The problem of call drops and poor internet will be solved soon. The Telecom Regulator i.e. TRAI has made a strong plan regarding this. Soon you will get better connectivity inside the house and in the basement as well. Recently, TRAI had prepared a draft regarding this, in which it has been said to give a rating regarding digital connectivity. In this, the availability of mobile networks, Wi-Fi infrastructure, optical fiber readiness etc. will be taken into consideration. After the implementation of this rating system, call drops and poor internet connectivity will be relieved in homes, offices and markets as well.
Relief from call drops and poor internet
Talking to PTI, TRAI Chairman Anil Kumar Lahoti said that the regulator is taking the initiative to give digital connectivity rating to properties. In today's era, when you buy a new house or office or take it on rent, first of all you have to face the problem of network connectivity. You buy expensive flats or offices or take them on rent. After shifting, you find that the network is not reaching all the rooms. There is a disruption in the Wi-Fi signal.
To overcome this problem, the telecom regulator has started a new initiative. Now digital connectivity rating will be issued for every house, office and administrative building. On the basis of this rating, it will be decided which building meets the standards of digital connectivity and which does not. Then solutions will be provided for better connectivity inside the building. It is a good thing that many property developers have started working for this.
Draft ready to give rating to property
In October last year, TRAI had talked about giving rating to the property under Digital Connectivity Regulation 2024. In May, the telecom regulator has drafted a draft regarding this. TRAI chairman further said that if there is a better digital connectivity rating, property developers can show this rating to the flat buyers.
Anil Kumar Lahoti further said that regulations have already been issued for this rating framework. The telecom regulator has currently received requests for digital connectivity ratings from 5 entities. He further said that in view of 5G, 6G and the latest technology, digital connectivity rating has now become mandatory.
