
A roller coaster at an amusement park in China’s Henan Province suddenly broke down, leaving more than a dozen tourists hanging upside down for several minutes.
Eyewitness video shows the roller coaster climbing from the bottom to a 90-degree incline before coming to a sudden stop on a vertical track in Zhengzhou on June 5, according to Sichuan Observer News.
The riders, visibly panicked, were left suspended upside down in mid-air, unable to move.
After a few tense minutes, the ride resumed and continued at high speed.
According to Sing Tao Dailyone tourist described feeling dizzy and having blurred vision, calling the experience a life-or-death moment. Others said they would never ride a roller coaster again.
