If you are an iPhone user, you must be facing space issues. However many iPhone users may not know that they can uninstall many pre-installed apps to free up storage space and reduce bandwidth usage. In recent years, Apple has made more apps optional, allowing users to remove apps like Books, Compass, Freeform, Home, Journal, Magnifier, Measure, News, TV, and Reminders. If needed, these can be easily downloaded again from the App Store. With this feature, users can customize their iPhones, remove unwanted apps, and improve the performance of their devices.
How to remove pre-installed apps?
1. Go to the Home screen and find the app you want to uninstall.
2. Lightly press and hold on the app's icon.
3. After a few seconds, a small 'X' will appear on the app's icon.
4. Tap on 'X'.
5. A pop-up message will appear asking if you want to delete the app. Tap on ‘Delete’.
Note that some system apps cannot be deleted, but you can remove them from the home screen so that they are not visible. For this:
1. Go to the home screen and find the system app you want to remove.
2. Lightly press and hold on the app's icon.
3. Tap on ‘Remove App’.
4. Tap on ‘Remove from Home Screen’.
This way you can free up storage space on your iPhone and use it in a better way.
Change these settings on your iPhone now to free up space:
If you want to free up space on your iPhone, go to the camera and go to the video segment. Here you will see three dots on the top. Click on it and select HD + 30 here. Whenever you make a video, do it in this format. Because when you make a video in 4K + 24, it takes up more space on your phone.
