Indian benchmark indices extended their winning streak on June 9, 2025, with the Nifty 50 closing above the 25,100 mark for the first time, ending the session at 25,103.20 (up 100.15 points or 0.40%). The Sensex also gained, settling at 82,445.21, up 256.22 points (0.31%).

However, despite the strong overall market performance, several heavyweight stocks in the Nifty 50 closed in the red.
