The Exceptionally Talented… Here we are talking about actor Maniesh Paul He started his career by organizing cultural events at schools and colleges in Delhi. Subsequently he relocated to Mumbai and began hosting Sunday Tango on Star Plus in 2002. The actor also took on roles as a VJ and Radio Jockey. He also featured as the lead in films that include Mickey Virus Ranbanka Baa Baa Black Sheep Hrudayatar Tere Bin Laden 2 and Banjar which received negative response from cinema lovers and ended up being box office duds. Additionally he hosted Dance India Dance Lil Masters Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 and Nach Baliye 9 among others which gave him a strong boost in the industry. Eventually in 2006 I secured a full-time position as an RJ. So I proposed to Sanyukta ‘Let’s tie the knot!’ We had a lavish Punjabi-Bengali wedding and after the wedding Sanyukta began her career as a teacher while Maniesh I balanced my RJ role with hosting events. Despite our busy schedules and the little time we had together she never raised any complaints. He further talked about being jobless for almost a year during which he was unable to pay his rent. He said “In 2008 I had hit another low point jobless again for a year and unable to pay rent. But once more Sanyukta stood by me and took care of everything and kept telling me ‘Be patient you’ll get a great opportunity soon. Her faith paid off when a year later I landed a role in a TV serial. From there things began to turn around and I started getting offers for reality shows and award events.” When Akshay Kumar Insulted Maniesh Paul He also recounted a humorous memory that involved Akshay Kumar. Remembering an award ceremony Maniesh mentioned that he had asked Akshay for some acting advice. To this Akshay replied firmly “Chup kar!” (shut up). Maniesh confessed that he started to sweat immediately particularly because it was the first time his mother was in the audience. “I felt so embarrassed... beizzati hogayi” he chuckled.
