Housefull 5 boasting a remarkable cast that includes Akshay Kumar Sonam Bajwa Jacqueline Fernandez Riteish Deshmukh Abhishek Bachchan and Nargis Fakhri has still managed to hold its momentum with the audiences. Apart from this the distinctive idea by makers to release it with different endings has received an encouraging response from viewers as they are eager to discover how each version of the movie ends. Housefull 5 Manages To Stay In Double Digits In spite of unfavorable reviews and criticism the movie has joined the 100 crore club in its opening week. Additionally by the fifth day of its release it has amassed Rs 111.25 crore positioning it among the highest-grossing opening films of the year. As per early reports from the trade site Sacnilk Housefull 5 generated approximately Rs 10.75 crore on Tuesday (Day 5).  For the fifth day the occupancy of the 5A version stood at 20.66% whereas the 5B versions occupancy was noted at 12.78%. Regarding its global earnings the film has amassed Rs 160.50 crores at the international box office within its first four days. With Tuesdays collection added the film has earned Rs 175 crores. This indicates that the movie is nearing the 200 crore mark globally. Simultaneously the movie is expected to surpass this number by the end of the weekend. Thug Life On Its Verge of Becoming Flop However Housefull 5 has managed to beat the Tamil industry’s anticipated Thug Life featuring Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR. As reported by Sacnilk.com Kamal Haasan’s action-thriller raised its domestic revenue to Rs 40.52 crore with a Rs 3.62 crore collection on its fifth day. The Tamil version of the film earned Rs 3.25 crore whereas the Telugu and Hindi adaptations garnered Rs 29 and Rs 8 lakh respectively. Kamal Haasan who co-produced Thug Life with his production company Raaj Kamal Films International faces disappointing results as the film follows the unfortunate fate of his previous Indian 2 helmed by Shankar. Mani Ratnam in contrast had achieved a massive success with his Ponniyin Selvan both parts before Thug Life.
