Industrialist Sunjay Kapur tragically passed away on the night of June 12 2025 after experiencing a heart attack. According to media reports Sunjay Kapoor 53 passed away while playing polo in the United Kingdom. The 53-year-old businessman became a major headline mostly for his personal life where he married not once but thrice. He had a second marriage to Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. Who was Sunjay Kapur? Indian businessman Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar a manufacturing company of automotive parts for vehicles including EVs. The business was founded by his late father Surinder Kapur who was the pioneer behind the Sona Group in 1997. It was evident after his father Sunjay was expected to take over his fathers business empire. Sunjay Kapurs early education Soon Sunjay became the chairman of Sona Comstar and became a prominent leader in the automotive industry.
