The continuous rise in mercury levels has created dangerous weather conditions in the entire region.
The entire Barmer district is in the grip of severe heat, making the daily life of the residents difficult. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for Friday and Saturday, warning people to take necessary precautions.
The temperature is constantly rising, due to which the heatwave is intensifying.
According to the IMD, the weather conditions are expected to improve after June 15, bringing much-needed relief to the region
Precautionary measures:
Stay hydrated and avoid going out during the afternoon peak hours.
Wear light, breathable clothing and use sunscreen when stepping out.
Keep an eye on vulnerable groups like children and the elderly.
