Air India’s London flight AI171 fell victim to an accident in Ahmedabad on Thursday. More than 260 people died in this accident and many people were injured. After this, Air India is facing a lot of criticism on social media, but in this hour of grief, comedian Veer Das supported Air India and said that he cannot even imagine how difficult it will be for the people working there to do their work at this time.

Veer Das on Thursday wrote a post on the social media platform X and expressed his support for the Air India team. He wrote, “This is a sad day for many families. Our prayers and sensations are with them. I just want to say that I support the crew of Air India. I have always been traveling from Air India. Yes, there are some shortcomings, but despite this I always like it.”
He further wrote, “Over time, you will know what happened to this flight, but it is difficult to think how difficult it will be for those who have lost their colleagues at this time. It is difficult to think. I just want to say that we are with you and hopefully we will meet you in a flight again soon.”
About accident
On Thursday, Air India flight was flying to London, but it became a victim of the accident only 33 seconds after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport. The accident occurred when the aircraft collided with a building near the Bij Medical College in Meghani Nagar area.
At least 260 people have been confirmed in the accident. The dead include former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. There is news of only one person survival.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Ahmedabad today. Expressing grief over this incident on X, he wrote, “This incident in Ahmedabad is very sad and is going to shock us inside.” Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and Home Minister Amit Shah also visited the site of the accident and described it as “unimaginable destruction”.
