Ahmedabad After the horrific Air India plane crash, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken an important decision. DGCA has issued an order for Enhanced Safety Inspection on the entire fleet of Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft of Air India.
According to DGCA, the move aims to ensure the safety of passengers and hold any possible technical omission in Dreamlineer aircraft in time. After the Ahmedabad accident, many questions were raised about the safety and credibility of Dreamlineer, in view of which this strict investigation has been made mandatory.
Under this investigation, intensive security review of the entire Boeing 787 Dreamlineer fleet will be done to detect any technical weakness or pattern flaws. DGCA has clarified that further action will be taken based on the results of the investigation.
Main questions:
Is Dreamliner 787 a pattern -based technical problem in 787 aircraft?
Is Dreamline Fleet completely safe in India?
This action of DGCA is considered an important step towards further strengthening the security standards in the Indian Aviation sector. Air India and concerned aircraft manufacturer Boeing are also expected to cooperate fully in this investigation.
This initiative of DGCA will prove to be helpful in preventing such accidents in the future, giving top priority to the safety of passengers across the country.
