Dutch international and current Corinthians forward Memphis Depay has emerged as a major transfer target for Besiktas, with negotiations already underway. The 31-year-old star reportedly views a move to Türkiye positively.

Besiktas is working on a high-profile transfer that could make waves not only in Europe but globally. The club has set its sights on bringing in Memphis Depay, a world-renowned player currently with Brazilian side Corinthians.

Depay began his career at PSV Eindhoven and went on to play for Manchester United, Lyon, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid. Known for his creativity and goal-scoring ability, the Dutch No.10 is expected to bring both quality and excitement to the Istanbul-based club. Atiba Hutchinson helps convince his former PSV teammate

Besiktas has officially sent a letter of interest to Corinthians. With Depay’s contract set to expire next season, the Brazilian club is said to be open to selling the player to secure a transfer fee.

Depay, who is eager to return to Europe and prove himself again on the big stage, is reportedly encouraged by Besiktas’ approach. One of the club’s key assets in securing the deal could be its former captain, Atiba Hutchinson, who played alongside Depay at PSV. Hutchinson is expected to step in to help convince his former teammate.

If both clubs and the player reach an agreement, Memphis Depay could soon don the black and white shirt of Besiktas.
