According to the weather department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some places in Kolhapur, Pune, Raigad, Sangli, Satara and Thane districts in the next 24 hours. Due to which it is very important that people keep themselves safe.

Monsoon arrived early
This year, monsoon arrived early in Maharashtra. Usually it arrives around June 7, but this time it arrived on May 25 itself – that is, 12 days earlier. Soon after this, heavy rains occurred in many areas of the state, which created a lot of moisture in the soil. However, the early rains halted the initial preparations for farming for a while. But then when the rains stopped for a few days, the farmers got a chance to prepare the fields.
