Millions of users reported problems accessing social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) on Friday, with outages peaking worldwide.
According to monitoring site Downdetectorcomplaints on X complaints surged rapidly, citing issues with loading posts, logging in, and app crashes.

The cause of the disruption remains unclear, and the company has yet to release an official statement.
