Sushant who lives in Bihar moved to Delhi to pursue engineering studies but during that time he also became part of a dance group. In 2009 Ekta Kapoor produced another series called Pavitra Rishta and chose Sushant as the main actor with Ankita Lokhande as his female co-star.
