Tottenham seal first transfer under Thomas Frank amid Bryan Mbeumo battle with Man Utd

Tottenham have completed the signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on a permanent deal having landed him on loan back in January. The agreement gave the side the option to sign him this summer.

Thomas Frank has given the move the thumbs up and the French forward has now signed a deal in north London until 2031 for £30million. He becomes Tottenham's first signing after being bought to the club by Ange Postecoglou.

The Danish boss worked with Mbeumo since his arrival at Brentford from Troyes in 2019. Tottenham are in no immediate rush to make a decision over his future as numerous clubs register their loan interest and they're yet to rule out Vuskovic potentially staying put as part of their first-team squad for next season.
