Hollywood star Kevin Costner has recently addressed his plans regarding retirement. He has stated that he has no interest in leaving the industry anytime soon, as long as he fulfils his bucket list .

In a conversation with PEOPLE magazine, he said, "I don't even think about retiring, because I'll just move to the next thing that captures my imagination."

Further explaining that his "imagination is what determines what I do, not a boss," the star continued, "I think we're all different and we have different things happening for us."

"I've felt really lucky in my life. I'd like to think that I worked for all of it, but not everybody can live by the same blueprint," Costner added.

Kevin, who has been an integral part of the entertainment industry since the 1980s, made his debut in Sizzle Beach USA (1981) and has gone on to become one of the most recognised names in the years since.

Kevin shared that he doesn’t have a bucket list for what he plans to do next in his career but simply searches for projects that ‘satisfy him’ and would seem interesting for the audience to watch. "I don’t have those things. I have that list, [but] I don't refer to it that way. But certainly, my eyes and my enthusiasms are wide open and very big,” he stated.

Kevin Costner expressed how much he enjoys imagining meaningful projects that satisfy him and impact others. He feels a sense of urgency to pursue all these opportunities while he still can.

Costner has also starred in a selection of hit television series, including Hatfields & McCoys (2012) and Yellowstone from 2018 to 2023.
