Telangana cm presents Best Actors to Allu Arjun at Gadar Film Awards

New Delhi: Tollywood actor Allu Arjun, who was criticised a lot last year in December due to the stampede that happened in Hyderabad, by the fans and the Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, is now being praised and awarded by the CM.

Yes, you read that right, the Telugu superstar has been awarded by the Telangana CM for his film Pushpa 2: The Ruleon Saturday evening at the first Gaddar Award ceremony. This made fans surprised that how is he is being awarded for the film to which he faced criticism earlier.

The actor Allu Arjun received the best actor award for the film Pushpa 2. The actor shared this moment of pride and praise on his social media handle and paid gratitude to his fans and the government of Telangana. His Instagram caption read, ” Humbled and grateful to receive the Gaddar Award for Best Actor for #Pushpa 2. My heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana, The Honourable CM Sri @revenathofficial Garu, Deputy CM @bhatti_ vikramaka Garu, Cinematography Minister @komitareddy_venkatareddy Garu, #DilRaju garu & all the Jury members for this honour and for celebrating cinema through such a wonderful initiative. As soon as the post hit the social media, fans started congratulating the actor, some even started pointing out how the actor had to suffer criticism due to the stampede that took place last December.

About the stampede

On December 4, 2024, a woman died and his son was hospitalised on the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The incident occurred at the time when the actor Allu Arjun was in the theater along with his family. A case was filed against the actor because it was said that he visited the cinema hall without informing the officials beforehand which led to a situation like a stampede. Not only this, the actor had to spend a night in jail.
