‘Help the spinners…’, Kuldeep’s big claim about the pitch before the Test series, also on captain Gill

The Indian team has not won a Test series in England after 2007 and experts believe that the team will need Kuldeep’s contribution to do so. He may not be part of the playing 11 in the initial match to be played in Leeds but can prove to be effective on Birmingham, Lords and Oval grounds. Kuldeep said that he is expected to get some help from the pitch during the five -match series. He said, ‘There is a bounce for spinners on this pitch. Today is the third day, I have to bowl now. The ball is taking a little turn and I hope the same will happen during the series.

During this, Kuldeep also talked about the new captain of the Test team Shubman Gill. He said- ‘Shubman knows how to lead. He has worked with many captains, especially Rohit Bhai and learned from him. What I have seen so far is going to be very inspired. He is focusing on raising the team’s spirit. He is ready for this work.

The Indian team will visit England for the five -match Test series. The first Test of this series will be played in Leeds from 20 June. At the same time, the second Test will be played in Birmingham from July 2. The third Test will be played at Lord’s from 10 July, while the fourth Test will be played in Manchester from 23 July. The fifth Test will be played from 31 July at the Oval, London. With this series, India’s new World Test Championship cycle (2025-27) will also be started.
