Womens Odi World Cup 2025: The bugle of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is over. 8 teams will play in this tournament to be held from 30 September to 2 November under the joint host of India and Sri Lanka. A total of 31 matches will be played. The entire schedule of the tournament has been released. The most talked about match i.e. India vs Pakistan has also come out. World Cup will start in Bengaluru
The Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 will start from Tuesday, September 30. The hosts India and Sri Lanka will face face to face at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The tournament is being organized in the hybrid model, under which India and Sri Lanka are jointly hosting it. According to this model, Pakistan’s women’s team will play all their matches at R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This unique event has made the tournament even more special.
Round-robin format will compete
Apart from host India, teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka will participate in the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. A total of 8 teams will face each other in the round-robin format, in which each team will play matches against all opponents. After the league stage, the top-4 teams in the points table will arrive in the knockout, where two semi-finals will be played. Then in the final match, the new champion of women’s cricket will be decided.
India-Pakistan Mahamukabala will be held on 5 October
The most awaited match of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 i.e. India vs Pakistan will be played on 5 October. This high-voltage will be held at R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As usual, this time too, there will be a tremendous conflict of adventure and feelings in the match between the two teams. The audience and cricket lovers will be eagerly awaited for this day, as the India-Pakistan match is one of the most talked about and watched matches in the cricket world.
Venue of semifinals and finals
If Pakistan’s women’s team reaches the semi -finals of the World Cup 2025, the first semi -final to be held on October 29 will be played at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. If the team also reaches the final, then the title match will also be in Colombo. If Pakistan does not reach the knockout stage, the first semi -final match will be played in Guwahati and on November 2 in Bengaluru. The organizers have taken this decision keeping in mind the hybrid model.
