's has made the confession that he and have had a long-standing feud for years. It was fuelled when a radio promoter introduced the pair, only for the frontman to reveal they'd met before - and unleash a choice word at his foe.

The infamously straight-talking Oasis brothers aren't expecting to do much press ahead of their major reunion tour, which kicks off on July 5 - and Radio 2 might not be the first on their list if they participate in any future publicity drive - but Scott has now insisted he sees Liam as a "changed man". It comes after he and Noel, who first hit the charts in 1994 with debut single 'Supersonic', agreed to reunite for the first time in 16 years following a huge fight at a 2009 Paris show - but they'll be having separate after-parties on this year's tour.

It's clear that they have form for long-term grudges - and Scott revealed the gory details of his clash with Liam in his autobiography, Love You, Bye.

"They were absolutely huge at the time and renowned for being outspoken. Their radio plugger took me over to Liam and said, 'You remember Scott, don't you? You've met him before.' Liam looked me up and down and went, 'Yeah, he's a c**t,'" Scott recalled.

However, he's now told that he's convinced Liam is no longer the same as he was in the 1990s - and that he's "nicer".

"I think he's completely changed. I actually think I am completely changed, but I think he's probably a nicer man now," he mused.

"In the nineties, it was the thing to be mean. All pop stars now are pretty nice. When I joined Radio 1 in '98, a lot were horrible as that was the thing to do. It doesn't happen any more."

His comments come after Liam recently took to Twitter to describe his reunion in the studio with Noel as "spiritual".

In contrast, in a statement confirming he'd quit the band back in 2009, Noel summed up the atmosphere in his life as "violent".

He wrote: "The level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable."

Now, however, the band are embarking on a reunion tour, starting in Cardiff on July 4 - and fans were driven into a frenzy in their eagerness to buy tickets.
