PM kisan yojana:Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme for small and marginal farmers of India is no less than a boon. This scheme not only helps them financially, but has also proved to be helpful in improving farming further.

Now the eyes of the farmers are on the 20th installment of this scheme, which is likely to come in June 2025. But this time farmers who do not fulfill some important conditions may have to face problems. Let us tell you in this article that when the 20th installment of PM-Kisan will come, for what reasons can the money be stuck and what to do to fix it.

20th installment: How long will the money reach?

According to sources, the 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi can reach farmers’ bank accounts in the third week of June 2025. Some informal news mentions the date of 20 June 2025, but the government has not yet been officially announced.

Earlier, the 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025 at an event held in Bhagalpur, Bihar, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent Rs 22,000 crore to the accounts of about 9.8 crore farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Since this scheme provides a installment of Rs 2000 every four months, the expectation of a new installment in June is natural. If you are the beneficiaries of this scheme, then correct your documents from now on so that there is no delay in the arrival of money.

PM Kisan Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi started in 2019, aimed at providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the eligible farmers are given Rs 6000 annually, which are transferred directly to the link bank accounts from their Aadhaar as an amount of Rs 2000 every four months in three installments.

So far, this scheme has made the lives of millions of farmers easier, but it is necessary to follow certain mandatory conditions for the 20th installment.

What reasons can your money be stuck?

It is mandatory to follow certain rules to avail the 20th installment of PM-Kisan. If these conditions are not met, your money may get stuck. Let’s know the main reasons and their solutions:

1. E-KYC mandatory

E-KYC is now an important part of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. If you have not yet completed your e-KYC, then your installment can stop. This rule has been implemented so that the benefit of the scheme reaches only the right and eligible farmers.

What to do?

  • Go to PM-Kisan’s official website www.pmkisan.gov.in and complete the e-KYC.
  • If there is a problem in the online process, then visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
  • Make sure your Aadhaar number is correct and there is no mistake in it.

2. Aadhaar and bank account link

PM-Kisan’s money is transferred through DBT, for which your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar. If there is no Aadhaar link or there is an error in it, then the money will not come in your account.

What to do?

  • Go to your bank and check whether the Aadhaar number is the correct link or not.
  • If there is a mistake in Aadhaar, such as an error in the name or date of birth, get it fixed at the Aadhaar center.
  • The IFSC code and account number of the bank account should also be correct.

3. Need for land consciousness

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi benefits only those farmers who have cultivable land. For this, land consciousness is mandatory. If you do not get your land verified, then your installment may get stuck.

What to do?

  • Contact the nearest Tehsil office or Patwari and get the land verified.
  • Make sure you have updated documents like measles-khatauni.
  • If the land is not in your name, first get it transferred to your name.

4. Farmer Registry and Farmer ID

Farmer Registry and Farmer ID is necessary to take advantage of PM-Kisan. If you have not yet registered, you will not get money.

What to do?

  • Go to PM-Kisan website and regist the new farmer.
  • Fill the Aadhaar number, bank account, and land details correctly.
  • If there is a problem in registration, seek help from the CSC Center.

5. Cruddy information or ineligibleness

Many times the application is rejected due to wrong information, such as wrong Aadhaar number, bank account number, or land records. Apart from this, farmers who do not meet the eligibility conditions of the scheme will not get money.

Eligibility Terms:

  • The farmer should have cultivable land.
  • The family of the farmer should not be taxpayer.
  • Government employees, pensioners, or high income people are not eligible.

What to do?

  • Check Beneficiary Status on PM-Kisan’s website.
  • If there is any mistake, fix it immediately.
  • If you are ineligible, fix your situation.
