By Jitendra Jangid- Friends, like other parts of our body, our nails are also very important organs, which can tell a lot about our internal health. Often ignored, nails can show early signs of nutrient deficiencies or serious medical conditions. Some symptoms seen in nails indicate about your health, let's know about them-
1. Frequent nail breakage
If your nails break often, it may be a sign of iron deficiency. Iron deficiency can weaken your nails.
2. Yellow nails
Yellow discoloration in nails can be a sign of underlying conditions such as diabetes or lung disease.
3. Persistent white spots
White spots that persist on your nails for a long time can be a sign of calcium deficiency. Calcium is essential for strong, healthy nails and bones.
4. Blue or purple nails
Blue nails can be a sign of low oxygen levels in your blood, often associated with heart or lung problems.
5. Redness or swelling around the nails
Inflammation, redness, or swelling around the nail may be a sign of an autoimmune condition.
6. Deep pits in the nails
Tiny pits or "pits" in the nails can be associated with skin diseases such as psoriasis.
