Emerging television actress Khadija Saleem recently shared her candid thoughts on marriage, life changes, and her acting journey in a lighthearted and heartfelt interview.
Khadija revealed that she is very excited about the idea of getting married and dreams of having a husband who not only understands her personality but also lovingly embraces her quirks. “I want my husband to be handsome and someone who truly understands my nature. Since I’m not very expressive, I want a life partner who can understand my heart without me having to say much,” she said.
Reflecting on her entry into the entertainment industry, Khadija said it brought a significant transformation in her life. “Earlier, I used to be lazy and my mother pampered me a lot. But now, being part of the showbiz world has taught me to be independent and organized. Here, you have to manage everything yourself.”
Khadija also shared a personal struggle she faced during her younger years—skin issues, particularly acne—but noted that the problem was resolved with proper treatment and care.
On a lighter note, while discussing her dream wedding, she laughed and shared, “People often ask me, ‘Where will you find such a perfect husband? Will you order one?’ And I always reply, ‘I’m asking Allah for him, and I’m sure He’ll bless me with someone just like that.’”
She added that she wishes for a grand wedding proposal at a beautiful international location and hopes her future husband not only accepts her whims but spoils her with even more affection.
Khadija Saleem rose to fame for her role as Dananeer Mobeen’s sister in the hit drama “Meem Se Mohabbat”, where her performance received widespread praise from viewers.
