How to Play NYT Connections
In NYT Connections, players are presented with a grid of words and must identify the hidden connections among them. Consider synonyms, antonyms, and word families to solve the puzzle. If you encounter difficulties, hints are available within the game. You can also track your daily progress and challenge friends to see who can solve the most puzzles.
A new puzzle is released daily at midnight, accessible via the NYT website or app. Your task is to organize the 16 words into four groups of four based on their connections. Be cautious, as some words may fit into multiple categories. Each group is color-coded, with yellow typically being the easiest, while purple often involves wordplay.
Select four words that you believe belong together and click the ‘Submit’ button. Incorrect guesses will cost you a life, but if you're close to forming a correct group, you may receive a hint indicating you're just one word away from success. However, if you make four mistakes, the game ends.
