Iran-Israel Conflicts: 110 Indians including 90 students of Kashmir will return home, aircraft will reach Delhi today

Amid the increasing tension in the Middle East, India has started the process of evacuating its citizens trapped in Iran. According to media reports, the first withdrawal flight with 110 Indian students is likely to reach New Delhi at around 2 pm on Wednesday. These students were first sent to Armenia by land route and from there are being brought to India by air.

Indian Embassy arranged to take out

The Indian Embassy in Iran made arrangements to get the students out of Tehran due to security reasons. Along with this, other Indian citizens who are able to travel themselves have been advised to leave the capital. The embassy is in touch with the local Indian community and is also providing assistance when needed.

A large number of Indian citizens, especially students live in Iran. Many of these students are from Jammu and Kashmir and other states, who are doing medical and commercial courses. The Government of India is giving priority to the safety of these students and for this, coordinating with friendly countries like Armenia and UAE.

Ladakh administration established special control room

Meanwhile, the Ladakh administration has set up a special control room to help the families of people trapped in Iran. According to the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Office, this control room will work 24 hours and will provide all possible help to the people.

The Andhra Pradesh government has also contacted more than 100 Indians (NRI) of the state trapped in Iran. State NRI Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said that the government is keeping an eye on the situation in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and is taking necessary help and precautionary measures. The state level control room is also actively functioning.
