News India Live, Digital Desk: Sharad Pawar’s Claim: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar has recently rejected all the speculation in which a possible alliance between him and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was being reunited with a possible alliance or his nephew Ajit Pawar. He clearly stated that he has no intention of going with the BJP nor is there any possibility of re -joining Ajit Pawar.
Pawar also predicted That the BJP will have to face defeat in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the opposition parties will emerge firmly. He also mentioned the morning swearing -in ceremony in 2019, which he described as ‘a political move’. Pawar made it clear that the purpose of that incident was to impose President’s rule in Maharashtra, but that attempt failed.
The NCP chief reiterated his commitment to Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), including Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) and Congress. He accused the BJP of breaking the opposition parties and misusing the central investigative agencies. He said that the BJP is trying to destabilize all the states where they do not have government.
Sharad Pawar insisted that he would continue to work in the interest of Maharashtra and the country. He strongly stated that he would not allow Maharashtra to be divided and is committed to keep it united. This statement is believed to be a halt on many speculations going on in the politics of Maharashtra.
