The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, is also open to leaving Old Trafford in search of a fresh start.

One of the clubs showing interest in Sancho is Napoli. However, the deal is proving complicated due to the player’s high wages. The Serie A side admire Sancho’s qualities but are unwilling to match his current salary demands. For the transfer to go through, the England international will likely have to take a significant pay cut.

Sancho’s wages have already become a stumbling block once this summer. Chelsea, who briefly explored the possibility of signing him, ultimately decided against the move, with his salary being the primary reason for the breakdown.
